Our Rasp knives are made from a farriers rasp which is a high carbon steel that makes a great everyday knife. It's honing and holding ability out shines other knives, it will need to be oiled to maintain it's impressive quality!
Our Damascus blades are made from the 10 series with 1095 15 N 20. This Damascus combination has taken years to perfect and has been tested under a variety of application which will offer professional performance in categories of toughness, strength (lateral stress) and edge honing and holding ability. Our blades due to carbon content need to be regularly oil to maintain it's superior quality for the lifetime of the knife.
Our 440c stainless steel is possibly the most popular knife steel in use today. It takes and holds a good edge. It has good corrosion resistance and sharpens easily due to the high carbon steel content!
